Renovating Relationships
Kenny Bryant
For the last several weeks, we've been discussing what it means to renovate our lives. In particular, we've been looking at what has been called The Sermon On The Mount, in order to see how this renovation work should be done.
The main point is this: Foundations are fundamental and what we build our lives upon determines its staying power. As followers of Jesus, we build our lives upon the foundation of His Word. If we build on anything else, our lives are bound to collapse.
This week, we will look at passages that have to do with our relationships with others -- especially those relationships that are somewhat adversarial. How do we respond to others who seem to be out to get us?
In preparation for this week's sermon, please read Matthew 5:21-26; 38-48.
